Just in: ‘Leave our party alone’ — Bala Leads Protest Against David Mark-Led ADC Bloc

Demonstrators on Thursday took to the streets of Abuja, urging opposition leaders, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and former Senate President David Mark, to stay away from the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

The protest was led by the factional National Chairman of the ADC, Nafiu Bala, who accused the political figures of attempting to hijack the party.

Also, Bala was joined by ADC House of Representatives member, Leke Abejide, as they marched with supporters carrying placards with various inscriptions.

Some of the placards had inscriptions such as ‘Woe to Political Marauders’, and ‘Hon. Nafiu Bala, We Stand With You’.

However,  this seems to be a counter demonstration after an earlier protest by the David Mark faction at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
