The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the names of 47 senatorial aspirants disqualified from participating in the party’s Senate primary elections ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The list was announced on Monday in a statement signed by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, who said the screening exercise followed the party’s established guidelines and procedures.

Among the notable aspirants not cleared are former Bayelsa East senator Ben Murray-Bruce and Benson Agadaga. In Rivers State, four aspirants from Rivers West — Oyukaye Flag Amachree, Tamunobaabo Danagogo, Jack-Rich Tein, and Banigo Ipalibo — were also disqualified.

Zamfara recorded the highest number of affected aspirants, with seven names across the Central, North, and West senatorial districts failing to secure clearance.

In Oyo State, Kolapoboye Kola Daisi, alongside several others, was also excluded from the race.

The APC, however, did not state the reasons for the disqualification of the affected aspirants.
