The 2026 Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Awards have recognised some of the standout performers across English football, with Arsenal and Coventry City players dominating the Premier League and Championship Teams of the Year respectively.
The awards ceremony was held in Manchester on Monday, bringing together top performers from the Premier League, Championship, League One, League Two, Women’s Super League (WSL) and WSL 2.
A total of 74 awards were presented during the ceremony, while former England international Karen Carney and Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish were also set to receive PFA Merit Awards for their contributions to English football.
Arsenal’s dominance was particularly evident in the Premier League Team of the Year after the Gunners ended their 22-year wait for the English top-flight title.

Midfielders: Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United), Declan Rice (Arsenal), Rayan Cherki (Manchester City)
Forwards: Erling Haaland (Manchester City), Antoine Semenyo (Manchester City), Igor Thiago (Brentford)
Coventry City players, meanwhile, made up the majority of the Championship Team of the Year after their impressive title-winning campaign.

Forwards: Žan Vipotnik (Swansea City), Haji Wright (Coventry City), Femi Azeez (Millwall)
The selections highlight the individual performances that stood out during the season, while also reflecting the success of Arsenal and Coventry City in their respective divisions.
