EPL: Chelsea Move Up to Second After 2–0 Victory Over Burnley

Chelsea have risen to second place in the Premier League after securing a 2-0 win over Burnley in Saturday’s early kick-off.

The Blues went into the November international break on the back of a comprehensive 3-0 drubbing of Wolves.

And Enzo Maresca’s men went about making it straight wins with an early goal from Pedro Neto.

Neto was on the end of a scooped cross from Jamies Gittens to open the scoring, as Chelsea went into half time 1-0 up.

Although Burnley fought back in a bid to level the match, it was Chelsea who struck again through midfielder Enzo Fernandez.

The result means they now have 23 points, one more than Manchester City, who travel to Newcastle later in the evening.

They remain just three points adrift of league leaders Arsenal.
