There is joy in the home of Nollywood actor Olanrewaju Omiyinka, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, as he and his wife have welcomed a baby boy.
The actor announced the arrival of his son on Instagram on Monday, sharing maternity photographs with his wife and revealing the child’s name as King Kagar Omiyinka.
Expressing gratitude, Baba Ijesha described the birth as a blessing and a testament to God’s faithfulness.
“In quiet ways, in unseen ways, God has been writing a story only He could tell. We thank the Almighty for blessing us with a healthy baby boy,” he wrote.
He also paid tribute to his wife for her strength and support throughout the journey to motherhood.
The arrival of the baby marks a significant chapter in the actor’s life, coming months after he regained his freedom in November 2025 following his release from prison.
Since returning to public life, Baba Ijesha has remained active in the entertainment industry, granting interviews and releasing a song titled “Eniwaye Dáràn,” which he said reflects his perspective on the events that led to his incarceration.
For the actor and his family, however, the focus is now on celebrating a new beginning, with the birth of their son bringing renewed happiness and hope for the future.
