Nigerian TikTok personality Habeeb “Peller” Hamzat and his fiancée, Amadou “Jarvis” Elizabeth, have officially announced that they will tie the knot on August 1, 2026.
Peller made the announcement in an Instagram post on Saturday, sharing a save-the-date video with the caption: “The wait is almost over. Save the date as we begin forever together. We can’t wait to celebrate this special day with you.”
The social media couple, who are among Nigeria’s most popular online personalities, got engaged in June during an event in Accra, Ghana. Peller proposed with a ring in the presence of friends and invited guests, and Jarvis accepted.
Their engagement followed a brief separation, which Jarvis said was caused by misunderstandings over Peller’s decision to keep parts of their relationship private while publicly denying they were romantically involved. During that period, Peller had also declared that he would never date or marry a Nigerian woman again.
The couple later reconciled, putting the disagreement behind them, and have since continued sharing moments from their relationship with their fans. Before announcing their wedding date, Peller and Jarvis also held their traditional bride price ceremony in Benin City, Edo State, marking another milestone ahead of their August wedding.
