EPL Table : Manchester City Move Three Points Clear at Top After 1-0 Win Over Coventry

Manchester City moved three points clear at the top of the Premier League table after securing a narrow 1-0 victory over newly promoted Coventry City on Saturday afternoon.

The win keeps City’s perfect start to the campaign intact, with Pep Guardiola’s side claiming maximum points from their opening three fixtures.

City controlled much of the match and created pressure against Coventry, but their dominance produced only one goal.

The decisive moment came in the first half when Antoine Semenyo broke down the right before delivering a cross for Erling Haaland, who headed the ball into the net to give City the lead.

The goal proved enough as Manchester City held on for all three points and strengthened their position at the top of the Premier League table.

City are now three points ahead of Arsenal in second and Chelsea in fourth, with the two sides set to face each other at the Emirates on Sunday.

Manchester City will return to Premier League action next Sunday when they travel to Old Trafford for a highly anticipated clash with Manchester United.
