American pop superstar Lady Gaga has welcomed her first child with fiancé Michael Polansky, US media reports said on Friday.
The 40-year-old singer, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, began dating Polansky in 2020 before the couple became engaged in 2024.
A source confirmed the birth to Page Six and People, although details about the baby, including the child’s name, sex and exact date of birth, were not immediately disclosed.
The arrival of her first child marks a major personal milestone for Gaga, who has spoken publicly in recent years about her desire to become a mother.
Known affectionately as “Mother Monster” by her fans, Gaga has continued to balance her music career with her personal life and engagement to Polansky.
Professionally, the singer recently completed her Mayhem Ball world tour in April, following the release of her latest album, Mayhem.
The album earned multiple Grammy nominations and won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album earlier this year, adding another major achievement to Gaga’s already celebrated career.
The birth of her first child now adds a significant new chapter to the life of the award-winning singer, as she and Polansky begin parenthood together.
