United States President Donald Trump has sparked fresh reactions after describing rapper and singer Nicki Minaj as “so hot” while introducing her at a White House Rose Garden luncheon.
In a video from the event that has since gone viral, Trump praised the award-winning artiste’s talent, popularity and support before adding a personal compliment that quickly drew attention online.
“We also have a woman that is respected and so hot. She is such a great friend, a fantastic person, a woman that is respected by everybody, and she’s got real talent; we have Nicki Minaj,” the President said.
Minaj appeared to welcome the remarks, sharing photos from the event on her X account with the caption: “Whoa! #WhiteHouseBarbie with her favorite President of all time!”
The rapper has publicly expressed admiration for Trump in recent months. She was previously seen with the President at the Trump Accounts Summit in Washington, where she described herself as “probably the president’s number one fan,” adding that she was unconcerned by criticism or public reactions to her support.
Trump’s comments and Minaj’s response have since generated widespread discussion across social media, with many users weighing in on the exchange.
