EPL: Carragher Identifies Two Man City Stars Who Could Halt Arsenal’s Title Hopes

Former Liverpool captain Jamie Carragher has warned that Arsenal should be concerned about Manchester City’s Phil Foden making a return, which could impact the Premier League title race.

Foden struggled for form last season, contributing to City losing the title to Liverpool during Arne Slot’s debut campaign. However, the England midfielder seems to be hitting his stride recently, netting five goals in his last three matches.

Manchester City beat Sunderland 3-0 last weekend to close the gap between them and Arsenal to two points.

“If he (Foden) continues in the form that he was when he was Player of the Year two years ago, I think as an Arsenal fan I would really be worried in terms of the title,” Carragher told Monday Night Football.

“Haaland, at times we’ve mentioned City as a one-man team this season. But Haaland has just been Haaland. He can’t do it on his own.

Carragher added, “If Manchester City are going to win the league, they will need goals coming from other areas.”
