Nigerian content creator and actress, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, popularly known as Kiekie, has explained why she would never collaborate with some of her colleagues in the entertainment industry.
Speaking during a recent podcast interview, Kiekie said she avoids working with skit makers whose content she considers too vulgar or indecent because it does not align with her personal brand.
“I would never collaborate with any skit maker that is too vulgar. I will not be able to collaborate with them,” she said.
When asked to mention a specific person, Kiekie declined, saying she had no particular individual in mind but had seen several creators whose style of content did not fit her brand.
She explained that her decision was not a criticism of their work, stressing that she respects their creativity and efforts. According to her, content that focuses excessively on revealing dressing or sexually suggestive themes does not match the image she has built.
Kiekie added that brand alignment is important, noting that collaborating with creators whose content differs significantly from hers could affect how brands perceive and approach her for business opportunities.
