Several Nigerian Afrobeats superstars have secured nominations at the 2026 Grammy Awards, marking another milestone for the country’s vibrant music scene.
The shortlist was released on Friday evening.
Davido and Omah Lay made the cut for their collaboration on ‘With You’ for Best African Music Performance.
The category also sees ‘Love’ by Burna Boy and ‘Gimme Dat’ by Ayra Starr and Wizkid nominated.
Burna Boy who already has a Grammy to his name, has been nominated for the Best Global Music Album for ‘No Sign of Weakness’.
