Nigeria and Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen has been named Turkey’s 2025 Sportsman of the Year, following an outstanding season with the club. He received the individual honor at the 2025 GQ Türkiye Men of the Year Awards.
The Nigerian goal poacher was instrumental to Galatasaray’s domestic success last season, registering 37 goals and seven assists across all competitions to help the club secure the league title.
Osimhen has scored 11 times in 14 outings across all competitions for the Yellow and Reds in the current campaign, with 6 goals in the Champions League. He expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the award, the club, and the supporters after receiving the award.
The award, presented annually by the Turkish edition of GQ Magazine—a leading international men’s fashion and lifestyle publication—honors outstanding achievers across various fields, including sports, music, and film.
