Super Falcons midfielder Toni Payne has completed a move to Italian club Inter Women, signing a two-year contract after leaving English Women’s Super League side Everton.
The Serie A Femminile club confirmed that the 31-year-old has signed a deal that will keep her at the club until June 30, 2028.
Payne began her professional career with Dutch side Ajax before joining Spanish club Sevilla in 2018, where she spent six years. She moved to Everton two years ago before making the switch to Inter Women.
The experienced midfielder was part of the Super Falcons squad that won a record-extending 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title in Morocco in 2024.
She has also been named in Nigeria’s squad by head coach Justine Madugu for the upcoming 2026 WAFCON finals as she prepares to begin a new chapter in Italy.
