Israel Has More Work to Do Against Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah — Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has signaled that military operations against Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah are far from over, declaring that Israel still has critical missions ahead in its ongoing conflict across multiple fronts.

Addressing newly commissioned officers at an Israeli military graduation ceremony on Thursday, Netanyahu said the country would continue acting “with full force” against its adversaries, including threats posed by drones.

“There are more things to do against Iran, against Hamas, against Hezbollah, and against drones,” he told the officers, emphasizing Israel’s determination to press ahead with its security objectives.

The prime minister pointed to the recent killing of Hamas commander Izz al-Din al-Haddad, whom he described as one of the key planners of the October 7 attack, saying the militant group’s operational strength has been significantly weakened.

Netanyahu said the October 7 assault marked the beginning of what he described as a broader effort by Israel’s enemies to destroy the country, adding that Israel’s military response is reshaping the Middle East.

“We are in the midst of a prolonged multi-arena war,” he said, comparing its significance to Israel’s War of Independence.

He also defended Israel’s actions against Iran, arguing that they were necessary to remove what he called an immediate existential threat. Netanyahu insisted that Iran would not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons, with or without a future agreement.

“As long as I am Prime Minister,” he said, “Iran will not have nuclear weapons.”
