Bruno Guimaraes Agrees Personal Terms with Arsenal as Arteta Pushes for £70m Midfield Move

Arsenal have reached an agreement on personal terms with Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, moving a step closer to securing the Brazil international.

The Premier League champions are now preparing to submit an official bid worth around £70 million for the 28-year-old midfielder, with manager Mikel Arteta keen to strengthen his squad ahead of the new season.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed on X that Arsenal have finalized personal terms with Guimaraes and are ready to table their offer.

He wrote: “Arsenal have agreed all details of personal terms with Bruno Guimarães and a new official bid will follow. Arsenal to offer £70m. Newcastle expect to reject, but Arsenal believe they can still get the deal done. Arteta is pushing because he wants Bruno.”

While Newcastle are expected to reject Arsenal’s opening bid, the North London club remain optimistic that a deal can eventually be reached.
