The celebration, organised by the Edo State Tourism Agency (EDSTA), is themed “Digital Agenda and Artificial Intelligence to Redesign Tourism.”
The event began with a road walk from the MOWAA Gate and continues with a symposium at the John Odigie Oyegun Public Service Academy (JOOPSA), where stakeholders are examining the role of technology in the future of tourism.
The celebration is hosted by the Director-General of the Edo State Tourism Agency, Lady Vivian Elabor, with Governor Monday Okpebholo as Chief Host. Hon. Dennis Idahosa and Mrs. Edesili Okpebholo Anani are the Special Guests of Honour.
The programme is also exploring how Artificial Intelligence and digital tools can help Edo showcase its rich culture, heritage and tourism destinations to wider audiences while creating new opportunities within the creative economy.
