EPL: Manchester United Edge Arsenal 3–2 at the Emirates

Manchester United on Sunday stunned league leaders Arsenal with a thrilling 3–2 victory at the Emirates Stadium, sealing a memorable away win highlighted by two brilliant goals.

Arsenal started the encounter on the front foot, dominating possession and piling early pressure on the visitors, but Manchester United remained resolute with disciplined defensive organisation.

The hosts eventually took the lead just before the half-hour mark, benefiting from an unfortunate own goal by Lisandro Martinez, who diverted a cross into his own net.

Unshaken by the setback, United regrouped quickly, grew into the game, and began to find their attacking rhythm as the contest unfolded.

Their persistence paid off when Bryan Mbeumo capitalised on a defensive mistake by Arsenal, slotting home the equaliser just before the break, sending both teams into halftime level at 1-1.

The second half saw United take the lead with a stunning strike from Patrick Dorgu, whose powerful shot left Arsenal’s defence rooted to the spot.

As the match approached the climax, Mikel Arteta’s side managed to pull level once more with a scrappy goal from a corner kick, a trademark method of attack for the Gunners.

But the drama wasn’t over. Just as Arsenal looked to be gaining momentum, United struck again with another sensational effort from Cunha, restoring their lead in style.

Despite a strong late surge from Arsenal, Manchester United stayed composed and defended resolutely to claim all three points, handing the league leaders a stunning defeat.
