Mbwas Mangut, technical adviser of Nasarawa United, has commended his team for returning to winning ways after their semi-final victory over FRSC FC in the state Federation Cup.
However, the Solid Miners have failed to record a win in their last three games in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
And ,the Lafia-based side edged out FRSC FC 2-0 at the Lafia City Stadium on Friday.
Meanwhile , Nasarawa United will face the winner of the Si14 FC vs WAN Agara FC tie in the final of the competition.
Mangut said that his players showed enough improvement in the game.
It was a hard-earned win against a very organized opponent,” Mangut stated after the game.
“My boys displayed character, defended as a compact unit, and took their chances clinically, although we should have scored more.”
