British-Nigerian rapper, Joseph Adenuga, popularly known as Skepta, has raised concerns over what he described as growing injustice in Nigeria.
Speaking in a video broadcast, the ‘Bad Energy Stay Far Away’ crooner called on celebrities and the international community to help amplify the voices of Nigerians and draw global attention to the situation in the country.
According to him, Nigerians are resilient people who often hide their struggles, but many citizens have continued to suffer injustice for a long time.
“There is so much injustice in Nigeria. And whenever I can, whether through my shows, words or images, I will always speak up against injustice.
“Nigerians need help. We need people to speak up for us as well. We need to protect Nigerians because there is so much injustice going on in the country.
“This is my message to the people: I know Nigerians are resilient and we make everything look good, but we need help too. Please, help us,” he appealed.
