Popular Nigerian content creator and skit maker, Kemi Ikuseedun, widely known as Mummy Wa, has revealed why she remains single as she approaches her 30th birthday.
Speaking during a video broadcast, the entertainer said her love life has largely been influenced by her tendency to develop feelings for fictional characters rather than real-life partners.
According to Mummy Wa, she has never genuinely fallen in love with a real man, admitting that many women can relate to becoming emotionally attached to characters they see on screen.
“The reason why I am still single is because I fell in love with a fictional character. And it is not only me; a lot of women fall for fictional characters. But where are we going to find them?” she said.
The skit maker jokingly referenced South Korean actor , saying she has spent years waiting for the kind of character he portrayed in the popular TV drama .
“I am almost 30, and I am still waiting for Lee Min Ho. What if I meet him in real life and he is not the same person I watched in ‘Boys Over Flowers’?” she said.
Mummy Wa added that her attraction to fictional characters remains one of the major reasons she has stayed single, noting that she often finds herself drawn to idealized personalities created for television and film rather than real-life relationships.
