With an academic background in Environmental Management and an MBA in International Business, she has built a career that bridges environmental sustainability with economic progress. Her professional journey has taken her across several countries, where she held strategic leadership roles in the banking and financial services sector, contributing to the development of digital payment platforms and innovative financial solutions that strengthened financial inclusion and modern banking services.
Driven by a passion for creating lasting impact, Dr. Bashorun founded Kunden Services, a company that provides strategic business advisory, technology integration, project development, and management consulting services to governments, institutions, and private-sector organisations. Through the company, she has delivered innovative solutions that promote business growth, operational excellence, and sustainable development.
Expanding this vision, she established ZL Global Alliance (ZLGA), an international platform dedicated to promoting strategic partnerships, sustainable investments, climate-smart development, and economic transformation. Through ZLGA, she champions initiatives that integrate renewable energy, climate finance, carbon markets, sustainable agriculture, circular economy principles, and infrastructure development to build resilient communities and foster inclusive economic growth.
Recognising the strategic importance of Nigeria’s marine and inland water resources, Dr. Bashorun also leads ZLGA Waterways Management, an initiative focused on waterways restoration, dredging, shoreline protection, coastal resilience, inland water transportation, and the advancement of the Blue Economy. Her vision is to transform waterways into engines of commerce, environmental restoration, tourism, and job creation.
Beyond business and infrastructure, she remains a passionate advocate for climate-smart sustainability, promoting practical solutions in climate adaptation, renewable energy, waste-to-wealth initiatives, food security, biodiversity conservation, and carbon finance.
