Aston Villa defeated SC Freiburg 3-0 on Wednesday night to win the UEFA Europa League Final in Istanbul.
The Premier League side dominated the encounter from the start and went into the break with a two-goal advantage after stunning strikes from Youri Tielemans and Emi Buendía.
After the restart, Morgan Rogers added a third goal to complete an emphatic victory for Villa.
The triumph also saw manager Unai Emery win the Europa League for a record-extending fifth time, following previous successes with Sevilla FC and Villarreal CF.
Villa’s victory also means England could have six clubs in next season’s UEFA Champions League if they finish fifth in the league.
